If you need help developing your idea, we recommend you get in touch with your local SEPnet Outreach Officers or get in touch with the organisation offering the funding. Please do read the Guidelines for each of the funding bodies carefully before talking to your officer. Institute of Physics Public Engagement Grant Scheme Deadline: Midday Monday 17 October Amount: Upto �2,000

Notes: Can cover any physics topic, but does not include activities aimed at children while at school or on a school trip.

STFC Small Award Deadline: 4pm Thursday 27 October Amount: �500 to �10,000

Notes: Projects must be relevant to publicising engagement or teaching about the STFC science and technology areas.

UK Space Agency, Space for All Deadline: 9am Wednesday 9 November Amount: Upto �10,000

Notes: This scheme is aimed at space education and engagement projects that increase awareness of the UK�s space programme and the role that space plays in everyday life. It is a competitive scheme offering grants up to �10K.

RAS 200 Open: Monday 10 October Deadline: Friday 9 December Amount: Up to �100,000

Notes: These projects are bigger in scope and in the past targeted underserved audiences. Have a talk with your Outreach Officer and they can get you in touch with the relevant RAS staff.
